Since the parameters of the power supplied by these devices can be fine-tuned, adjustable power supplies can simulate other sources of power. This is why they are indispensable in the design and prototyping of electronic devices (moreover, they facilitate the diagnostics of faulty circuits).

The SDP-2210 unit rated at 200 W is a single-channel, programmable DC power supply manufactured by Manson. The output voltage supplied by the device can be adjusted within the range from 1 V to 20 V DC with the output current of up to 10 A. Its clear, large LED display shows the voltage and current settings, output power, as well as the status of other device functions, such as operation in the constant current (CC) or constant voltage (CV) mode. The power supply features built-in overpower protection (OPP), overvoltage protection (OVP), and reverse polarity protection, which ensures high operational safety.

Up to 20 pre-set voltage and current settings, as well as their operational period, can be programmed using the keys located on the front panel of the device. The built-in RS-485 and USB interfaces allow for remote control of the power supply with a PC. Thanks to the included software, all the collected data of voltage & current changes can be saved as an .xls file to facilitate their further analysis. Moreover, the unit comes with a LabVIEW driver and command sets, which makes it possible to integrate it into your existing system and automate the operation of the power supply.
